Most students who dream of flying get stuck at the very first move — not the money, not the exams, just "what do I actually do first?" Here is the exact order, the same one we walk every candidate through. You can begin some of this while you're still in school.

You need Physics and Mathematics in 10+2. Without both, the DGCA route stays closed — so if you're still choosing streams, choose science with Maths.
Already finished school without them? There's still a path — see below.Start with a DGCA Class 2 medical — it's the quicker, entry-level fitness check. Clearing it early tells you you're fit to fly before you spend a rupee on training.
Do this first. It's the cheapest way to find out if flying is open to you.This is your unique pilot-trainee ID with the regulator — the account through which every exam and licence is recorded. Nothing official happens without it.

The structured, airline-backed route. You clear a competitive selection, sign a Letter of Intent with the airline before paying training fees, then train straight toward the A320 flight deck. This is the closest thing to a guided path — and the one most parents are looking for.

Why Skywings
Founded in 2018, Skywings Consultancy Services is a UAE-registered placement consultancy connecting aspiring pilots with airline-approved training organisations in India and the Philippines.
We are not a flying school, and we don't pretend to be one. Our job is the part most candidates get wrong on their own: verifying eligibility, preparing you for airline assessment, and placing you into the right approved program at a published, all-in price.
Training is delivered through our partner organisations under formal agreements — including Acron Aviation (the former L3Harris Commercial Aviation Solutions business, UK) and AAG at Clark, Philippines.
What we won't tell you: that a job is guaranteed from day one. Cadet selection is an airline decision made across three assessment stages. What we do guarantee is a straight account of your odds, your costs, and your route — before you pay anything.
